PRESENTATION: Quality Plant of the Year Award Presentation
Daimler Trucks North America’s Cleveland, NC heavy duty truck assembly plant has achieved significant quality improvements as a result of the implementation of it’s Production Operating System known as the Truck Operating System(TOS) and a Lean Management System.

The Cleveland facility operates under the Lean principles as established by it’s operating system. This system provides the “Know What” and “The Know How” to continually improve within a Lean Culture. Cleveland’s success with improving not only quality but all of it’s key performance indicators has been accomplished by creating a Lean Management system that effectively drives the use of the various tools within the Truck Operating System using the appropriate tools at the appropriate time to achieve the desired results.
